Defecto Bar makes our list for the best specialty coffee in Valencia. Here’s why… The new owners of this space in El Botànic have transformed it into one of the neighbourhoods trendiest bars. They serve natural wines and really good coffee “Vinos naturals y café del bueno”. Which makes this a good option for coffee or wine lovers (or both)! Defecto in Spanish means to have a flaw or defect…which is ironic because the coffee here is flawless ;) they serve delicious specialty coffee prepared with love from local Valencian roasters Foc Coffee. They’re pet friendly so we always like to stop in with the dog when we’re walking the city and need a coffee/snack boost. The place has a really nice design, soundtrack (good music playing) and ambience, full of illustrative and creative art (that you can buy). We have to mention the food which is simple, yet delicious. There’s everything from toasted sandwiches to oven baked cheesecake and brownies. They’re also starting to organise collaborations like the recent SushiJap event which is really exciting. 🏆 One of the best specialty coffees ⚡️ Coffee from local Valencia roasters Foc ☕️ Talented baristas 🥐 Delicious food 🌳 Located in El Botànic
